Angela Sims is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. Angela received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University. Since then, she has gained experience working in a variety of settings including juvenile justice, inpatient hospitalization, and nonprofit.
Drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities and techniques, such as EMDR, CBT, ACT, and somatic-attachment, Angela tailors her approach to meet the needs of her clients. Angela sees clients for a range of concerns including grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, cancer or chronic illness, caregiving, and relationship concerns. Angela is dedicated to creating a therapeutic environment that is inclusive, affirming, and respectful of diverse backgrounds, identities, and cultures.
Practice Information and Location:
Angela currently offers sessions in Dallas, Texas or virtually for clients throughout the state of Texas. Virtual sessions are held through a HIPAA complaint platform. At this time, weekend appointments are not available.
